Summary
Daily Quest does not require an account. User-created data is stored locally on your device. The app does not use a remote server for your task data. Your data leaves your device only when you choose to export or share a backup file, or when you use Apple system features that you control.
Information You Create in the App
Daily Quest lets you create and manage planning information such as quests, categories, daily task selections, completion status, progress log entries, reminder settings, backup files, and widget-related app data.
This information is stored locally on your device so the app can provide its daily planning features.
Local Storage
Your Daily Quest data stays on your device unless you take an action that moves it elsewhere, such as exporting a backup file, saving a file to a cloud storage location, sending a file to another person, or restoring data from a file you selected.
If your device uses Apple services such as device backups or iCloud backups, Apple may back up app data according to your device settings. Those services are controlled by Apple and your iOS settings.
Reminders and Notifications
Daily Quest can send local notifications for reminders if you allow notifications. Local notifications are scheduled on your device and are used to remind you to plan your day or check what remains before the day ends.
You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings. Disabling notifications may prevent reminders from appearing.
Import and Export
Daily Quest supports importing and exporting backup files chosen by you. Exported backup files may contain your quests, categories, daily plans, completion history, and related app data.
You are responsible for where you save or share exported files. Please store backup files somewhere you trust, especially if your quest names or category names contain personal information.
Widgets
Daily Quest includes widgets that can show app information on your device. Widget data is provided locally from the app so iOS can display relevant daily planning information.
No Account Required
Daily Quest does not require you to create an account, provide a name, provide an email address, or sign in to a remote service to use the app.
Analytics, Ads, and Tracking
Daily Quest does not include third-party advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking for advertising purposes.
If Daily Quest adds analytics, advertising, tracking, or other data collection features in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are introduced.
Third-Party Services
Daily Quest does not use a remote server to store your user-created task data. The app may rely on Apple-provided iOS features such as notifications, widgets, file picking, backups, and system sharing. Your use of Apple services is subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices.
Children's Privacy
Daily Quest is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require an account or remote data submission, the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page should be updated.
